Yi An, MAOM, DACM, L.Ac.
Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine

Dr. An earned his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) degree from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM). He is nationally certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) and got his license from the Texas Medical Board.

With nearly a decade of clinical experience, Dr. An has practiced in more than five traditional Chinese Medicine clinics across Texas, including Austin and San Antonio, before establishing his practice in Richmond, Texas.

Throughout his training, Dr. An studied under several renowned Chinese acupuncturists—two of whom had over 30 years of clinical experience—refining his approach to both traditional and modern techniques. He has since developed a unique, integrative style that combines classical acupuncture methods, electro-acupuncture, and practical Tui Na techniques to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

A founding member of the Young Acupuncturist Association of America, Dr. An also serves as its Special Advisor on Classical Studies, continuing to promote the scholarly and clinical advancement of traditional Chinese medicine.

His clinical focus includes pain management, stress and anxiety relief, and digestive health, with a mission to help patients restore balance and improve their quality of life through holistic, patient-centered care.
